Hello, and welcome to Freedom Christian Counseling in McMinnville, TN. We are Commissioned Pastoral Counselors who are passionate about helping individuals, couples, teens, and children find emotional healing, spiritual growth, and practical tools for life through Christ-centered counseling.
In every session, we seek to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. We believe that lasting transformation happens when we invite Christ into the counseling process—renewing the mind, healing the heart, and restoring hope.

Lauren Welsh - Counselor & Owner
Lauren Welsh is a commissioned counselor with a deep compassion for those who are hurting and has the drive and determination to see them move through the hurt and difficulties of life to find the joy and beauty that lies ahead of them. She uses her personal life experiences, deep love of learning, and outside the box thinking to help others overcome their hurt while discovering and attaining their goals in life.
Her education began at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN where she completed two years with an emphasis on Speech Communication and holds a bachelor’s in Christian Counseling through Andersonville Theological Seminary, is working on a Master’s degree and is a Professional Clinical Member of the National Christian Counselor’s Association.
